Question by max t: is Confidence a Good Golf Brand?
I’m thinking of buying a golf set that has this url http://www.golfoutletsusa.com/confidence-golf-mens-hq7-square-club-set–bag.aspx and i was hoping that someone could tell me if this was a good brand or it was a bad set?

No!!!!!! Stay the hell away from them. I bought a set 2 years ago and the clubs broke like after 5 times played. They have terrible cust. service and I went round and round with them and even reported them to the BBB. Go get fitted at a PGA superstore and they will work with your budget.

Summary:
I purchased the full set for 300 euro less than a year ago. I had problems wiith the grips which seem to twist while playing a shot. The clubs I got have Apolla graphite regular flex shafts. I found them too light and difficult to control. I changed for a set of Taylor Made Super steel bubble with regular flex and they have much better balance.

Purchase: I have purchased six complete sets of clubs, bag included,(two ladies, one senior-flex, three men’s regular) from golfoutletsusa.com under the Confidence and Texan brands.
Pros: Inexpensive about 0 per set for clubs, bag, balls, and tees. Returns were done amicably and we used our credit to purchase some hybrid clubs which are working well.
Cons: One set has already been returned for credit. That set had a cracked driver, a curve in the head of the three-iron and four iron. Being a senior, with limited flexibility, and power, it seemed strange that I could crack the heads on a driver and five-wood and possibly bend the face of an iron. Three sets were given as gifts, and their status is unknown. Those receiving the clubs do not golf very often. Of the two remaining sets, one three iron has a curve in it, the heads came off the two three-woods (wife’s and mine), there is a crack in the men’s five-wood and the men’s driver looks like it’s developing a crack. Resin is slowly oozing out of the crack in the five-wood. The zipper on the women’s golf bag head cover needed to be sewn.
