Question by UNC_4: Why does my knee still hurt?
On March 19th I had surgery to reconstruct my ACL. Everything went fine and as planned. Now I am having pain on the medial side of my knee. The pain is along the joint line and behind my knee. I am a golfer and in the peak of my season at this point. I also have swelling along the joint line and behind my knee. The pain pump that was used in my knee was recalled after my surgery. The reason the pumps were recalled is because they can tear cartilidge when being removed. Could that be what is bothering me?
my doctor informed me of the pain pump recall. apparently it is more common with shoulder surgeries.
i also had a baker’s cyst when i first learned of the ACL tear, is that causing the swelling behind my knee.

its possible that it is the pumps have you talked to your doctor about it?
