I recently started a few days ago in a warehouse and I am looking for something else, do not worry this was only meant to be a temporary work anyway, as most people stay there for a month or two then leave for something better, and I want to know what is the best place to start looking for work again. I only make 9,15$/hour during the day and 9,65$/hour during the night(soon to have a 50 cent raise since minimum wage is going up) I work 12 hour shifts, and I work 2 days, 2 days off, 2 nights, and 3 days off, with double wages after 44 hours, so basically I get 4 hours overtime a week, not sure how much I make in a week though, but its just to get the idea, I work in lots of heat which I can’t stand (90 degrees in the winter to about 150 in the summer, and yes it has reached that high before, so the employees tell me) and just need to know how to pick a good location to start working, it took me about 62 weeks to find this one, and I don’t want to let it go without finding something else. Lots of employees just quit after a few weeks anyway, they just either don’t show up, or show up for a few hours and just walk out. My co-worker said I already survived longer than like 90% of people under 25. just so you know, I can pass any drug test and any criminal record check the employer throws at me, so I just need to know where to start looking. I have maintenance and cleaning of a sports facility, I have storage in a golf course(putting away golf clubs after golfers rounds, power carts, things like that) and I have that little warehouse experience, not much, but it is a start
it is basically 15 cents above minimum wage during the day, and 65 cents during the night
