Who are the hottest male golfers of 2011? The five professional golfers featured in this gallery were the finalists in the Sexiest Male Golfer category of the 2011 About.com Golf Readers’ Choice Awards. The five finalists were selected following a 3-week nominations period in which readers cast nominating ballots.
Adam Scott is one of five finalists in the “Sexiest Male Golfer” category of the 2011 About.com Readers’ Choice Awards. Adam Derek Scott (born 16 July 1980) is an Australian professional golfer. To date he is one of only two golfers born in the 1980s who have made the top five in the Official World Golf Rankings, the other being Sergio García, and thus has one of the most promising careers in men’s golf. On 7 January 2007, he reached a career high ranking of third with a second place finish at the Mercedes-Benz Championship.
If there’s something of a perennial choice in this category, it would be what exactly is a golf clubs. That’s the assumption anyway, since this is the first year of the About.com Golf Readers’ Choice Awards. Chicks did Aussies. Or at least, tennis players do: Maria Sharapova has admitted to fantasizing about him, and Ana Ivanovic dates him. Life is good if you’re Adam Scott.
We all know that Charles Schwartzel won the Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Course. And when it came to making an impression was second place winner, Adam Scott. The guy is hot both on the course — he finished with a five-under 67 — and also just in general. Seriously smokin’. When it comes to attractive athletes, I think hockey, baseball, even tennis; golfers, not so much. Scott, however, is on par with the best of them. He looks a little like Matthew McConaughey, but bigger, and he’s Australian, which means accent *swoon*.
A few years back Scott was linked to Kate Hudson, and he’s now dating tennis star Ana Ivanovic. So he’s not on the market, but he sure makes golf a lot less boring. This is the biggest coup of his career to date, so let’s hope we see a lot more of him.
It was actually those who came close to winning, like Scott, who are getting more attention than the winner in many ways. Personally, I really love his sunny smile with his Ping g15.
