Question by Wal: Which golfer should i take for the PGA Championship?
I am in a golf pool where you can pick any golfer you want over the course of the season….but you can only use them ONCE throughout the year…I used Tiger Woods last week, therefore, cant use him anymore…who would suggest I take for the PGA Championship…..I will show you the list of the top 50 golfers left that i have not used….If they arent listed that means i took them (took mickelson, tiger, casey, garcia, stricker, etc…..)

Who should i take??

since there is only 5 weeks left in the season (well 11 in our pool, but the stars dont play much in the final 6 weeks) my picks are weak left…Who should i take?? I know i dont have much to choose from, since i took alot of people thru the 35 weeks

Question by Johndogg: What arm brace does golfer Robert Allenby wear?
I was at the Barclay’s PGA Tour event, and noticed he was wearing an arm brace, for golfer’s elbow. My old man has golfer’s elbow, and we’ve been trying to find out which brace Allenby is wearing. Allenby has stated to the media that it’s been a VERY effective brace, so it may be able to help him.

*note- This is the 2nd time I’ve asked the question. The first time it went unresolved. I’ve never had an unresolved question on this site, and I think it’s weird that this is the one. Thanks for trying!!

Johndogg, I researched the information when you first posed the question, but came up empty. Allenby’s tendonitis (not golfer’s elbow) is so bad that he might need surgery, but the arm brace is his lifeline to keep playing.

I doubt that Allenby’s wrap is anything all that unique. Like Vijay Singh, just keeping pressure on the area affected is 95 percent of the battle. To me, it looks like Allenby has a half-inch rectangular block that he placed underneath the wrap.

Although I’m not qualified to answer specifically, it’s likely that your father’s golfer’s elbow wouldn’t be aided by the same treatment Allenby gives his tendonitis. So, take a read at the link below, which offers other solutions for golfer’s elbow.
